Summary: Small, family-run style hotel in the mountain. Decent restaurant. Very friendly staff. Great views. Far from everything, but then just like 70% of koh tao's hotels, wherever they are located. If you rent a motorbike or are willing to move across the island by taxi, you will be fine. The beach closer to this hotel is not the nicest / cleanest in koh tao. Laundry and other restaurants 5-10 min walk. They should have a shuttle service to mae haad, it would add +10 points to the overall experience. Happy nonetheless.
